ERPC Improves Solana RPC and Geyser gRPC Performance — DoubleZero Dedicated Fiber Integration Delivers ~200ms P99 Latency Reduction Across Asia

ERPC, operated by ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands) and Validators DAO, has implemented performance improvements to its Solana RPC (HTTP / WebSocket) and Solana Geyser gRPC services, achieving approximately 200ms of P99 latency reduction in Asian regions.
This improvement is the result of integrating DoubleZero's dedicated fiber network into ERPC's infrastructure. After deploying across all regions, the most significant gains were observed in Asian regions, where low Solana validator density has historically made high-speed data delivery structurally difficult. Both the Tokyo and Singapore regions recorded approximately 200ms of P99 improvement. Comparable gains have also been observed in the Sydney region, currently in test operation and approaching general availability.
Measurements were conducted using ThorLabs' publicly available RPC Benchmark under conditions closely approximating real transaction workloads.

Why Asian Regions See the Biggest Gains — Solana's Network Structure and Geographic Constraints
The majority of Solana validators are concentrated in Europe, particularly in and around Frankfurt, for historical and economic reasons. In regions where validators are densely clustered, data propagation between nodes completes in fewer hops, resulting in low and stable latency.
Asian regions, by contrast, have significantly fewer validators and are physically distant from the European validator clusters in terms of block data propagation paths. When traffic routes through the public internet, this distance accumulates directly as latency. The more intermediate hops along the path, the greater the jitter, and the less stable the communication quality becomes.
This structural geographic disadvantage has made it difficult to secure fast and stable environments for Solana development and operations in Asia.
DoubleZero — A Dedicated Fiber Network That Bypasses the Public Internet
DoubleZero is a dedicated fiber network purpose-built for blockchain validator communication. Instead of routing through the public internet, it propagates data between validators over independent, high-performance fiber links.
On the public internet, data traverses multiple intermediate hops and is subject to congestion and route variability. DoubleZero bypasses these paths and performs optimized routing over dedicated links, reducing latency and suppressing jitter. Additionally, duplicate transactions and spam traffic are filtered by dedicated hardware at the network edge, reducing the processing load on validators and nodes.
ERPC has integrated the DoubleZero network across all of its regional infrastructure. In regions like Europe and North America where validators are already densely clustered, baseline communication conditions are strong and the incremental improvement is relatively smaller. However, in Asian regions where validator density is low and public internet latency was significant, the effect of dedicated fiber path shortening was direct and substantial.

What This Means for Solana Developers in Asia
This improvement benefits not only validator operators but every developer building and shipping Solana dApps in Asian regions.
Every Solana application accesses the network through RPC. Wallet balance lookups, transaction submissions and confirmations, DeFi position updates, NFT mints — the speed users experience on Solana is determined by RPC response time. A 200ms improvement at P99 directly translates to a faster application experience.
Equivalent improvements have also been achieved for real-time data streaming via Solana Geyser gRPC. For use cases that subscribe to on-chain data changes in real time — price feeds, account state monitoring, transaction tracking — access from Asia can now expect response quality approaching that of European regions.
Until now, building a high-speed Solana development environment in Asia required accepting performance compromises imposed by geographic constraints. ERPC has structurally eliminated this constraint by leveraging DoubleZero's dedicated fiber network. As more innovation emerges on the Solana chain from across Asia, we are committed to supporting that scale from the infrastructure side.
High-Quality Infrastructure Backed by the Epics DAO Validator
As of March 2026, the Epics DAO validator — which powers ERPC's SWQoS endpoints and serves as the source for Epic Shreds — has reached 3rd place globally among all Solana validators with a score of 99.93. It maintains this level of performance while holding approximately 200,000 SOL in active stake.
Validator performance improvements are directly reflected in the quality of SWQoS endpoints, the delivery speed of Epic Shreds, and the quality of Solana RPC. The improvements from this DoubleZero integration build on top of infrastructure supported by this world-class validator.
The platform does not peak at the point of purchase. Through both validator growth and infrastructure improvements, the entire platform continues to get faster — this is ERPC's structural advantage.
Zero-Distance Design — ERPC's Integrated Platform
ERPC integrates all services required for Solana infrastructure within a single platform.
Solana RPC, Solana Geyser gRPC, Solana Shredstream (Epic Shreds), bare metal servers, high-performance VPS, and ERPC Global Storage — all connected via internal network paths with no public internet routing between services. Simply deploying on the platform provides the fastest communication conditions, pre-optimized configurations, and Solana-specific tuning from the start.
This DoubleZero integration is an infrastructure-layer improvement that raises the communication quality of the entire platform. The combination of ERPC's zero-distance design and DoubleZero's dedicated fiber network delivers an optimized communication environment not only for intra-platform proximity communication but also for global data propagation paths.

5 Consecutive Years of WBSO Approval
ELSOUL LABO has received approval under the Dutch government's WBSO R&D incentive program for five consecutive years since 2022. The company continues research and development on ultra-low-latency Solana RPC infrastructure and automation of validator placement and operations orchestration, with results directly reflected in platform performance improvements.
The integration of next-generation network technologies like DoubleZero is a natural extension of this ongoing R&D. Research outcomes are cumulative, and the rate of improvement continues to accelerate over time.
Next-Generation Infrastructure — AS200261 Solana-Dedicated Datacenter
ELSOUL LABO has been assigned its own ASN (AS200261) by RIPE NCC and is preparing to open a new top-tier datacenter dedicated to Solana. The facility features a unified hardware configuration of latest-generation AMD EPYC 5th Gen, AMD Threadripper PRO 5th Gen (9975WX and others), and NVMe 5th Gen, combined with optimized network routing through the company's own ASN.
The datacenter is scheduled to open this month and will serve as the foundation for further acceleration across the entire platform. The initial lot is fully reserved, and subsequent availability will be offered in waitlist order.
