ERPC Implements Price Update for Solana Infrastructure Products Effective Today — Commitment to Premium Quality and Expansion Remains Unchanged

2025.12.15
ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, the Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki), together with Validators DAO, announces that ERPC has implemented the previously announced price update for its Solana infrastructure products, effective today, Monday, December 15, 2025.
Driven by the rapid expansion of AI and blockchain demand, prices for server hardware—including CPUs, RAM, NVMe storage, and networking equipment—have risen sharply on a global scale. ERPC is not immune to this structural increase in costs. However, our fundamental policy remains unchanged: to continue delivering the highest level of premium quality at the most accessible pricing possible at any given time.
ERPC has consistently prioritized resource expansion and strengthening the overall platform over short-term profitability. Edge servers and networks become more powerful as they scale. To fully leverage this structure, we will continue to adopt flexible pricing strategies, including sale pricing where appropriate, while steadily expanding and improving our infrastructure.

Changing Performance Standards in Web3 Infrastructure

In the era of Web2 infrastructure, latency in the range of tens of milliseconds was often considered “fast.” In Web3—and especially on high-performance blockchains such as Solana—latency in the single-digit millisecond range, as well as minimizing jitter, directly determines outcomes.
For workloads such as transaction submission, continuous processing of Shreds and gRPC streams, and real-time analytics, single-thread CPU performance, clock characteristics, I/O stability, and network paths all have a direct impact. As a result, designs based on conventional multi-purpose cloud assumptions frequently fail to deliver results that match their specifications.
ERPC re-examined these assumptions from the ground up and has built infrastructure specifically for Web3, designed to simultaneously satisfy chain characteristics, network characteristics, and application requirements.

Performance Comparison with Cloud Providers

To illustrate ERPC’s VPS design philosophy, we conducted a performance comparison under identical conditions. In this comparison, ERPC VPS was measured against a high-performance Google Cloud configuration (AMD EPYC Turin generation, same region, same OS) using the same open-source benchmarking tools.
This is not a simple comparison against low-cost cloud offerings. The Google Cloud configuration tested is in a higher price tier, and the evaluation focuses on metrics that directly affect real-world Solana operations, including CPU throughput, memory bandwidth, storage I/O, and p99 latency.
The results show that ERPC VPS demonstrates clear advantages over comparable cloud configurations across CPU performance, memory bandwidth, disk I/O, and latency. These differences directly reflect design choices such as CPU clock operation policies, the absence of overcommitment, and storage and network architecture.

VPS and Premium VPS

ERPC VPS products are not designed under the same assumptions as general-purpose VPS offerings. We carefully select data centers where Solana validators and stake are densely concentrated and deploy our infrastructure on the same network as ERPC’s RPC, gRPC, and Shredstream services, structurally reducing latency.
Premium VPS and SUPER VPS configurations use the latest generation high-clock CPUs and operate without overcommitment. This ensures not only high peak performance but also consistent stability that is not affected by time-of-day or neighboring workloads.

Direct Shreds Limited Editions

Direct Shreds Limited Editions are dedicated Shredstream services designed to retrieve block data directly from the Solana network. The overall architecture—including CPU, I/O, and network paths—directly determines stream quality and stability.
By using fully dedicated resources with no overcommitment, these configurations provide consistent data delivery even during peak periods and are offered as a professional-grade option for users who require both speed and reliability.

Stream Bundles

Stream Bundles combine multiple Shreds and gRPC streams into purpose-built configurations designed for real-world operations. They mitigate transient fluctuations and data loss that can be difficult to address with standalone setups, offering a solution for professionals who demand both speed and stability.

ERPC’s Ongoing Direction

When the underlying assumptions of infrastructure change, new possibilities emerge.
The history of the internet makes this structure clear. It began with slow and expensive dial-up connections, then evolved through ISDN, ADSL, and fiber-optic networks. As high-speed communication became a baseline that more people could rely on, new services and business models—such as web services, video streaming, cloud computing, and mobile applications—emerged in rapid succession, expanding the entire ecosystem.
The same structure is now unfolding in blockchain infrastructure. When fast and stable infrastructure is confined to a limited set of high-cost environments, only a small number of developers and businesses can realistically experiment, and use cases remain constrained. When high performance and stability become realistic options for a broader range of developers, the barrier to “building and testing first” is lowered, fundamentally expanding the scope of application design.
Blockchain aims to enable open participation under shared rules, without reliance on centralized administrators or closed systems. For this to function in practice, the underlying infrastructure cannot remain locked within a small number of restricted environments.
As fast and stable infrastructure becomes more widely available, development, testing, and operation no longer depend on specific vendors or capital strength. Technologies and products evolve not as isolated optimizations, but as a mature ecosystem. ERPC will continue to provide high-performance, stable blockchain infrastructure as the foundation that allows the core values of blockchain—openness and accessibility—to function in real-world operations.
